Our Consulting Experience
We've stood on both sides of every wall.
Now we work for you.
We provide owners and general contractors with honest, independent oversight across every phase of construction, from document review and bid analysis to field QA/QC and owner representation.
This site is your resource for learning about our services, our experience, and how Arias Group can protect your next project.
Modernization of Existing Buildings
Modernizing an existing building requires a consultant who can identify problems before they become expensive and that starts with knowing what to look for before the first wall is opened.
Arias Group provides independent document review, field oversight, and quality control specifically tailored to the complexities of renovation and adaptive reuse projects, where existing conditions, hidden deficiencies, and coordination conflicts between old and new systems create risk at every phase. We review drawings for conflicts with existing conditions before work begins, monitor field installations as work progresses, and provide direct, plain-language reporting that keeps owners and contractors aligned and accountable throughout the process.
That experience is not what we sell, it is what qualifies us to catch what others miss.
AFTER
Ground-Up Construction
Arias Group provides independent QA/QC consulting across the full lifecycle of a ground-up project, reviewing documents before they go to bid, analyzing contractor proposals during the bid phase, and providing on-site field observations and quality control reporting throughout construction.
Our role is simple, to make sure that what was designed, what was bid, and what is being built are all the same project. We give our clients the independent documentation and honest reporting they need to make informed decisions at every stage.
We have managed ground-up construction at every scale. From a $320+ million Caesars hotel in downtown New Orleans, to a senior living facility with strict life safety and accessibility requirements.
That range of project experience means we know where ground-up construction goes wrong, we know what questions to ask, and we know what to look for, so our clients don’t have to find out the hard way.
Water & Storm Damage
Water and storm damage compromises structures in ways that are not always visible, and the pressure to rebuild quickly can lead to shortcuts that create larger problems down the road.

Arias Group provides independent consulting for water and storm damage assessment, repair document review, and construction oversight ensuring remediation work is performed correctly, the full scope of damage is accurately documented, and what gets rebuilt meets code and will last. Whether the source is a hurricane, flooding, a failed roof, or any other water intrusion event, we provide independent oversight to protect owners from incomplete repairs, unqualified contractors, and documentation gaps that create liability down the line.
Our experience spans water and storm damage recovery across the southern region, one of the most storm-impacted regions in the country. We understand how moisture and structural damage hides behind finished surfaces, and we know how to coordinate multiple repair scopes simultaneously under pressure. Arias Group steps in quickly, assesses what is actually happening on the ground, and delivers the clear documentation and honest reporting our clients need to recover with confidence.
Vertical Transportation
Vertical transportation systems, elevators, escalators, and related mechanical conveyance equipment, are among the most technically complex, heavily regulated, and long lead-time components of any multi-story building project. When these systems are not properly coordinated the consequences show up in the field as expensive conflicts, inspection failures, and schedule delays.

Arias Group provides independent review and oversight of vertical transportation scopes, ensuring specifications are complete, installations are coordinated across all trades, and the final product meets both code requirements and owner expectations before sign-off.
Our experience includes specialty elevator builds requiring in-cab monitor and digital display systems, one of the most technically demanding scopes in commercial construction. We have direct experience managing this level of complex, multi-discipline work to deliver a finished product that performs exactly as intended.
Owner's Representation
For owners who need more than a single-phase review, Arias Group offers full Owner’s Representation services, serving as your dedicated, independent advocate from project inception through final closeout. We attend meetings, review submittals and RFIs, monitor schedule and budget performance, coordinate directly with the design team and general contractor, and provide you with clear, consistent reporting so you always know exactly where your project stands. You get senior-level construction expertise in your corner without the overhead of a full-time employee. This service is available as a standalone engagement or in combination with any of our QA/QC consulting services.
For general contractors who need independent quality control support, whether for document review, subcontractor oversight, or field QA/QC, Arias Group offers the same level of independent expertise on your side of the table as well.
